Yearning for adventure, we closed our businesses in Mississippi and sold everything to scratch an itch for travel and new experiences. We came to Alaska on a whim.
Someone offered an opportunity to sell jewelry in Skagway, so we tried that. We didn’t fall in love with the jewelry business, but we fell head over heels for Skagway, our new forever home.
First we opened a coffee shop – Bites on Broadway – and then we decided to help others explore the place we love. Affordable Car Rental was born and we’ve never looked back.
